LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction and engineering consultancy Driver Group PLC Thursday said it has won a project control services contract from SABIC UK Petrochemicals Ltd.
Driver will provide project controls services to SABIC UK on the project which will see the latter convert its Teesside-based plants to take US shale gas.
"I am delighted that we have been able to secure this prestigious award in terms of both the project itself and more so because our project services business has gained the trust of a world class business in SABIC on what is a very significant investment by them," said Driver Chief Executive Officer Dave Webster.
"This award marks a significant step in our plans to substantially grow this area of our business in both the UK and our overseas territories," Webster added.
Shares in Driver Group were trading 1.5% higher at 110.15 pence per share on Thursday.
