Director dealings: Treatt finance chief sells some shares

(Sharecast News) - Treatt's finance director sold some shares as they traded within throwing distance of their record highs.
Richard Hope sold 10,000 shares at an aggregated price of approximately 1,106.0p apiece on 6 August for a total transaction amount of £110,570.00.

On 11 May, the supplier of flavour and fragrance ingredients had posted a 13.5% rise in first half sales to reach £60.8m for the six months to 31 March.

Before exceptionals meanwhile, its profit before tax was 71.4% higher at £10.4m, despite ongoing investment in the company's capacity and innovation capability to fuel long-term growth.

Hope was left with 396,706 shares or a roughly 0.66% stake in the company after the sale.

As of 1607 BST, Treatt's shares were trading up by 2.34% to 1,095.0p.
