DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Xtract Chairman, CEO Buy 5.3 Million Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.

Oil and gas company Xtract Resources said both its chairman and chief executive bought a combined total of 5.3 million shares, worth about GBP15,000.

Chairman Colin Bird bought around 3.5 million shares at a price of 0.2875 pence per share on Wednesday. Bird now is interested in 89.7 million shares, representing 1.04% of the issued share capital.

The company also said Chief Executive Officer Jan Nelson bought around 1.8 million shares at a price of 0.282 pence per share on Tuesday. The shares are his only holding in the oil and gas company and represents 0.02% of its issued share capital.

Shares closed up 1.4% at 0.284p Wednesday.

Anglo Asian Mining said that it has issued a total of 977,052 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each to some directors of the company in lieu of remuneration and expenses due for the six months ended 30 June. The shares were issued at 6.19p each. Chairman Khosrow Zamani acquired 666,406 shares, while non-executives Richard Round and John Monhemius acquired 152,801 and 157,845 shares, respectively. Zamani, Round and Monhemius now hold 1.3 million, 306,759 and 342,643 shares respectively. Shares closed down 15% at 5.44p Wednesday.

Renewable Infrastructure Group said Non-Executive Director Shelagh Mason acquired 49,504 shares as part of the company's share placing. She now holds 54,489 shares. Last Friday, Renewable Infrastructure Group said it raised GBP127.5 million after completing the placing of 126.5 million new shares at 101.0 pence each. "The proceeds from the placing will be used towards reducing the amount drawn under the group's acquisition facility used to partially fund the recent investment in a portfolio of six operational onshore wind projects," said the company Friday. Shares closed up 0.5% at 102.25p Wednesday.

Sports Direct International said Elizabeth Singleton, a person connected with Non-Executive Director Dave Singleton, sold 10,000 shares at a price of 770 pence per share Tuesday. Following this transaction, the Singletons now hold 27,000 shares. Shares in the sportswear retailer closed down 0.1% at 776.00p Wednesday.

FTSE 100 fashion house Burberry Group said Non-Executive Director Fabiola Arredondo bought 7,500 shares at a price of 1,579.00 pence each. The purchase was worth GBP118,425. Arredondo joined the board in March. The stock closed down 1.5% at 1,561.72p.

Flowgroup said Chief Executive Officer Tony Stiff bought 310,576 shares at 14.49p per share. Following this transaction, Stiff now holds 2.6 million shares, which represents 0.824% of the issued share capital. Shares in the alternative and efficient energy products developer closed up 2.6% at 15.00p.
