Volex PLC - Hampshire, England-based Volex electronic components maker - Executive Chair Nat Rothschild buys 60,000 shares via NR Holdings Ltd at GBP4.18, worth GBP250,800, on Monday. Rothschild now has 38.6 million shares, a 24% stake.

Frenkel Topping Group PLC - Manchester-based professional and financial services firm focused on asset protection - Harwood Capital LLP, as investment manager to North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC, buys 1.0 million Frenkel Topping shares at 71p and 73p, worth GBP719,211, on Friday last week and the prior Friday, October 1. Christopher Mills is a director of both Frenkel Topping and North Atlantic Smaller Companies. He is now interested in 27.5 million Frenkel Topping shares, a 24% stake.
