LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile commerce company mporium Group PLC on Wednesday said three of its directors acquired shares in the company on Tuesday and Wednesday, all for 4.33 pence per share.
Chief Executive Barry Moat bought 2.15 million shares, while newly-appointed Non-Executive Chairman Nigel Walder bought 1.15 million and Richard Gordon bought 1.0 million.
Moat now has a 1.7% stake in the company, Walder has a 1.4% stake and Gordon has a 0.2% stake.
The dealings happened after mporium on Tuesday reported a wider pretax loss in its first half on lower revenue and increased costs, as it said it will acquire the rest of InTELEgentsia Ltd.
Shares in mporium closed up 14% to 5.12 pence on Wednesday.
