N Brown Group PLC - Manchester-based online clothing retailer - Non-Executive Director Joshua Alliance buys 1.0 million shares at GBP0.65, worth GBP650,000, on Tuesday. Shares were up 2.6% at 67.70p in London on Thursday afternoon. Alliance had bought 7.3 million shares on Monday, 11.2 million in February, and 10 million in December. N Brown didn't provide Alliance's total shareholding, though 29.5 million shares would be about a 6.4% stake. David Alliance, a fellow non-executive director, holds a 40% stake.

City Pub Group PLC - operates 48 pubs in southern England and Wales - Executive Chair Clive Watson buys 100,000 shares at 132.5p, worth GBP132,500, on Tuesday. Now interested in 3.4 million shares, a 3.3% stake.

Alpha FX Group PLC - Non-Executive Director Vijay Thakrar buys 1,248 shares at 1,595p, worth GBP19,906, on Thursday. The shares are his only holding, having joined the board last week.
