Tue, 23rd Jun 2020 10:09

(Alliance News) - Diploma PLC on Monday said Barbara Gibbes commenced in her role as chief financial officer on Monday, succeeding Nigel Lingwood.

The FTSE 250-listed technical products & services supplier said Lingwood will remain with the company until September 30 in order to ensure a successful handover.

The executive change was first announced by Diploma in February.

Gibbes's most recent role was as acting chief financial officer for Intu Properties PLC from April to August 2019. Prior to that, she was director of finance at the shopping centre owner for two years from 2017 to 2019. Gibbes also was financial controller at Domino's Pizza Group PLC.

Diploma shares were trading 1.2% higher at 1,882.00 pence each on Tuesday morning in London, but 7.8% lower than at the start of the year.
