Devro Hires Asahi Exec Cummings As CFO As Callaway Moves To Coats

(Alliance News) - Sausage casing maker Devro PLC on Wednesday it has appointed Rohan Cummings as its new chief financial officer.

Cummings is currently CFO of Asahi International, part of Japanese brewer Asahi Group Holdings Ltd. He will take up the role on December 1, replacing Jackie Callaway at Devro. Callaway is stepping down as executive director and CFO on November 30 to join Coats Group PLC.

"I am delighted to welcome Rohan to Devro. With his broad finance and international background, as well as his strong track record of helping businesses to grow, I look forward to Rohan using that experience to contribute towards delivering Devro's 3Cs strategy and growth ambition," said Devro Chief Executive Rutger Helbing.

Coats separately Wednesday confirmed that Callaway will join the company as CFO designate on December 1.

Devro shares were up 0.2% at 165.40 pence in London on Wednesday. Coats shares were down 0.4% at 58.65p.
