Congo regulator gives cobalt miners April 30 deadline to use 2025 export quotas

ACCRA, ⁠March ​31 (Reuters) - Democratic Republic ​of Congo's ‌cobalt ⁠regulator ARECOMS said ⁠miners ​must execute all unfulfilled fourth quarter ​2025 ‌export quotas by April ​30 or lose ‌them to a strategic ‌reserve, according to a statement ​seen on Tuesday.

Quotas for ‌first quarter 2026 can ⁠be ⁠shipped ‌until June 30 alongside ​Q2 ​quotas, ‌it added. (Reporting by Maxwell Akalaare Adombila)
