LONDON (Alliance News) - Concurrent Technologies PLC said Wednesday that it has launched three new XMC Storage Adapter products, which can be used to increase the functionality of its range of processor boards.

The adapters are designed for applications requiring front loading storage drives suitable for use with XMC host boards including the VME, VXS, VPX and CompactPCI boards.

The company said that, for harsher environments, extended temperature versions are available.

"The release of these storage adaptors demonstrates our ongoing commitment to developing a variety of products to support customers across a range of embedded architectures and markets," said Managing Director Glen Fawcett in a statement.

Shares in Concurrent Technologies were trading down 2.3% at 43.00 pence Wednesday afternoon.
