(Alliance News) - Cohort PLC on Monday announced that its subsidiary EM Solutions has been awarded a contract worth around GBP11.5 million.
The Reading, England-based technology company said EM Solutions received a contract worth AUD21.7 million, around GBP11.5 million, to deliver its Cobra and King Cobra satellite communications terminals to the Portuguese Navy. The terminals will be used in the mid-life upgrade for the Vasco de Gama-class frigates and a number of new-build-programmes.
Delivery will take place over the period to 2030.
Cohort Chief Executive Officer Andy Thomis said: "This important order affirms EM Solutions' reputation as a world-leading provider of satellite communication systems. Their cutting-edge technology is trusted by navies across the world for resilient high-speed, long range digital communications. Together with other recent wins across the group, this contract further underpins our order book and enhances the visibility of future revenues."
Cohort shares fell 3.9% to 1,194.00 pence each on Monday morning in London.
