Capital & Regional Non-Executive Director Guillaume Poitrinal Resigns

LONDON (Alliance News) - Capital & Regional PLC said Wednesday that Non-Executive Director Guillaume Poitrinal has resigned from the real estate investment trust with immediate effect.

Poitrinal - the boss of French property firm Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield between 2005 and 2013 - is leaving Capital & Regional "due to the demands of other business commitments", the firm explained.

"I would like to sincerely thank Guillaume for his commitment and contribution to the company over the last two years during what has been an important period in its development, and we look forward to our continuing relationship with Guillaume as a significant shareholder", Capital & Regional Chairman Hugh Scott-Barrett said.

Poitrinal held 53.1 million shares in Capital & Regional at the end of 2017 through his firm ICAMAP Investments Sarl, equivalent to over a 7% stake in the firm. The stock was down 0.6% at 41.15 pence Wednesday afternoon in London but up 1.4% at ZAR7.76 in Johannesburg.
