CAP-XX raises £2.43m to fund developments projects

(ShareCast News) - Cap-XX, a maker of high-capacity electrochemical battery supercapacitors, has raised £2.43m in equity in order to invest in a number of development projects.The AIM-listed company raised £2.43m from a subscription of 27m shares at 9p each, which will be admitted to trade on 30 January.Following admission, the company will have a share capital of 297.7m shares with voting rights and none in treasury.Chief executive Anthony Kongats, said: "We are delighted with the support provided to the company at this exciting time for the development of our supercapacitor business, which will enable us to accelerate a number of development opportunities."Shares in Cap-XX were up 7.95% to 9.85p at 1111 GMT.
