HOUSTON, April 6 (Reuters) - The 75,000 barrel per day (bpd)crude distillation unit at BP Plc's 413,500 bpd Whiting,Indiana, refinery was back to normal operation on Mondayfollowing a brief shutdown Friday due to a malfunction, saidsources familiar with plant operations.

The 65,000 bpd gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic crackingunit at the Whiting refinery remains shut for repairs, thesources said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
