Fri, 27th Apr 2018 10:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - Boku Inc on Friday said that it signed an agreement with payments provider Paysafe Group to provide carrier billing deposit services for Neteller and Skrill digital wallets.

The mobile payments platform company said that the deal will enable verified consumers to use their mobile phones to upload funds to their digital wallets. After that, the consumers can use these funds to make purchases from a variety of online merchants. These services are currently available in the UK, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, the company said.

"This deal with Paysafe really showcases our e-money capability; Boku breaking barriers, taking carrier billing into places that it's not been to before," said Boku Chief Executive Jon Prideaux.

"Paysafe is totally the right partner for such a move and we're delighted to see our product being distributed by such an important mainstream payments company," Prideaux added.

Shares in Boku were up 3.5% at 104.00 pence each on Friday.
