Bank of England allocates record 108.634 billion pounds in short-term repo

LONDON, May ​7 (Reuters) - ⁠The ​Bank of ​England ‌announced on ⁠Thursday that it ⁠had ​allotted a record 108.634 ​billion ‌pounds ($147.95 billion) in ​seven-day ‌funds in its weekly ‌short-term repo operation, higher than ​a previous record ‌of 103.901 billion pounds set ⁠last ⁠week.
