Australian regulators approve Flutter Entertainment merger with Stars Group

(Sharecast News) - Betfair and Paddy Power operator Flutter Entertainment said on Tuesday that its merger with Canadian poker company The Stars Group Inc has been informally approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The deal remains subject to approval by the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board and other international regulatory bodies.

Flutter and The Stars Group, which owns Poker Stars, agreed a ?10bn deal in October of last year.
