Aura Energy Appoints Financial Advisors To Arrange Project Funding

LONDON (Alliance News) - Aura Energy Ltd said Wednesday it has appointed two London-based financial advisory firms to arrange funding for two projects in Sweden and Mauritania.

The company has hired SD Capital Advisory Ltd and GKB Ventures Ltd as joint finance advisors for the Tiris uranium project in Mauritania and the Haggan vanadium project in Sweden.

The advisors will seek up to 85% of the combined capital cost for both projects by way of export credit agency support. ECA support is an important element in the funding of projects especially in developing economies, the company explained.

Aura Energy shares were trading up 7.4% at 1.13 pence each on Wednesday.
