Audioboom To Launch Redesigned Android App

LONDON (Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC on Tuesday said it will relaunch its Android application this week with a new design and features.

The app comes after the announcement the company made on Monday of a content deal signed with Russell Brand.

"The launch of our iOS app at the end of last year was a huge success, and we're excited now at long last to bring the same functionality to our Android users. We believe we are reinventing radio consumption for the digital age, and the new app allows people the opportunity to listen and curate audio when they want to," said Audioboom Chief Executive Rob Procter.

Shares in Audioboom were down 1.4% to 9.52 pence on Tuesday.
