Asian Plantations Offer From FELDA Declared Wholly Unconditional

LONDON (Alliance News) - FELDA Global Ventures Holdings Berhad's offer for Asian Plantations Ltd was declared wholly unconditional Monday, as it said that it had received valid acceptances for around 93.9% of Asian Plantations' shares from shareholders and directors.

FELDA, a Malaysia-based agricultural and agri-commodities company, made an offer of 220 pence per share for Asian Plantations in August. The offer values the company at GBP102.9 million.

Shares in Asian Plantations last closed at 215.50 pence.
