LONDON (Alliance News) - Angus Energy PLC on Friday confirmed operations at the Brockham oil field, in the Weald basin in southern England, will begin next Friday.
Angus, which is the operator of the PL 235 Brockham licence, where it has a majority interest, had previously expected rig mobilisation to the well around mid-April.
But the UK Oil & Gas Authority has now issued a formal consent for the completion works to begin April 12.
Shares in Angus closed up 3.7% Friday at 5.60 pence each.
