Alpha Financial Expects Rise In Interim Revenue, Adjusted Earnings

LONDON (Alliance News) - Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC said Thursday it expects revenue and earnings for the first half of its financial year to be "considerably ahead".

For the six months ended September 30, the provider of specialist consultancy services said it expects both revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation expected to be higher that a year ago, with each of the UK, US and Europe & Asia geographic regions progressing well.

A year ago, revenue came in at GBP28.7 million and adjusted Ebitda at GBP5.8 million.

Chief Executive Officer Euan Fraser said: "We are pleased with the group's continued progress in the first half. We have continued to invest in and grow our skilled consulting teams globally and recently launched Alpha's eleventh practice, FinTech & Innovation, where we believe there is exciting potential."

Shares in the company were trading down 6% at 211.00 pence.
