Advanced Computer Software Acquires Avia Health Informatics

LONDON (Alliance News) - Advanced Computer Software Group PLC Friday said it has acquired the business of Avia Health Informatics PLC, the developer and provider of clinical decision support and referral facilitation software.

The provider of software and IT services to the healthcare and commercial sectors said the acquisition replaced Avia's obligations under a GBP350,000 convertible loan note that it owes to Advanced following an investment it made in Avia in September 2012.

Advanced Computer Software shares were up 0.4% at 85.828 pence Friday morning.
