LONDON (Alliance News) - Active Energy PLC Monday reported a narrowed loss and sharply higher revenue for 2014, after it restructured its operations by relocating its Ukraine operations and focused it on high-margin wood chip exports to MDF manufacturers in Turkey.
The industrial wood chip supplier reported a pretax loss of USD2.7 million for 2014, compared with a USD3.5 million loss in 2013, as revenue rose to USD23.3 million from USD8.2 million.
Active Energy shares were up 1.2% at 5.97 pence early Monday.
