LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas firm Highlands Natural Resources PLC on Wednesday said it has acquired further exploration licences in North Dakota in the US.
Highlands said it has acquired licences covering around 1,979.13 acres in the Williston Basin for USD14.4 million in cash.
"We are delighted with the low cost acquisition of these exploration licences in North Dakota. We will continue to update the market as we continue our oil and gas leasing campaign," said Chief Executive Robert Price.
Highlands shares were up 2.7% to 45.68 pence.
