Marlowe says Councell will join in the second half of its 2022 financial year, meaning October 2021 to March 2022. Councell was CFO at document management company Restore PLC, where he worked with Marlowe Chief Executive Alex Dacre. Prior to that, he was with pest control firm Rentokil Initial PLC. At Marlowe, Councell will replace Mark Adams, who is retiring.

Non-Executive Chair Andrew Blazye moves to executive chair, effective immediately, while Ivan Brooks takes on the new position of chief operations officer on an interim basis.

----------

Schroder UK Public Private Trust PLC - formerly Woodford Patient Capital Trust, invests in both listed and private UK companies - Hires Tim Edwards as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately, with the intention that he will replace retiring Susan Searle as chair at the next annual general meeting. Edwards is a chartered accountant who is an independent non-executive director of currency manager Record PLC, among other roles.

----------

Wieandt worked at Morgan Stanley and then Deutsche Bank AG, where he was head of Corporate Development and global head of Corporate Investments. He also was CEO of Hypo Real Estate. Meanwhile, Mark Breuer steps down from the Arix board on April 1, and Arix promotes Giles Kerr to senior independent director, effective immediately.

----------

Emis Group PLC - healthcare software - Hires Jayaprakasa Rangaswami as independent non-executive director, starting on Monday.
