Oilfield services company Wood Group earlier this month bought Baker Energy, the energy services business of US company Michael Baker Corporation. It says the purchase will make it the market leader in the provision of operations and maintenance services in the US Gulf of Mexico. However, despite the firm's bullishness, broker UBS is expecting a cautious statement tomorrow. Wood Group will be talking about resilience rather than growth opportunities, the broker says.It expects revenues for the second half of the year to total $2.4bn, down 11% from the same period the previous year.TRADING STATEMENTSWood GroupINTERIM DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATEComputacenter, Dunedin Income Growth Inv Trust, Elderstreet VCT, Elementis, Evolution Group, Friends Provident Group, Healthcare Locums, International Public Partnerships Ltd., Lincat Group, Michael Page International, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Nestor Healthcare, Regus, ROK, WSP GroupQUARTERLY PAYMENT DATEBritish Assets Trust, Quorum Oil and Gas Technology Fund Ltd.INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC ANNOUNCEMENTSBalance of Trade (US) (13:30)Trade Balance (GER) (07:00)Consumer Prices Index (GER) (07:00)Industrial Production (FRA)Manufacturing Output (FRA)Machine Orders (JPN)UK ECONOMIC ANNOUNCEMENTSPPI Input Prices (09:30)PPI Output Prices (09:30)PPI Core Output Prices (09:30)Visible Trade Balance (09:30)Non-EU Trade Balance (09:30)FINALSElecoAGMSAngel MiningFINAL DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATEACM Shipping, Colefax Group, Hampson Industries, Henderson Smaller Companies Inv Trust, Kesa Electricals, Phoenix IT Group
