(Alliance News) - Versarien PLC on Monday said Susan Bowen has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
The advanced materials engineering company said Bowen is currently president & chief executive of Cogeco Peer 1, a Canadian company providing managed IT services, where she is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the company globally, with a strong focus on helping customers scale their business.
She is also a non-executive director of JISC, a membership organisation providing digital solutions for UK education and research.
"We are delighted to welcome Susan Bowen to the Versarien board. She brings strong digital, commercial and people management skills gained from her current and previous transformational roles," said Chief Executive Neill Ricketts.
Versarien shares were trading 0.7% lower on Monday at 103.74 pence each in London.
