Healthcare software provider Advanced Computer Software Group (ACS) has clinched a partnership deal with Vodafone UK to supply its iNurse mobile phone application for nurses, giving them access to patient records on a smartphone.ACS did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. ACS's iNurse is a patient management system that allows healthcare professionals to access, record and communicate patient care information using a smartphone. The deal with ACS complements the world's biggest mobile operator by revenue Vodafone's newly launched mHealth Professional services, which focuson helping to deliver improved patient care at a time when the NHS is under pressure to drive efficiencies and find savings of £20bn over the next four years. Shares of the UK's ACS jumped more than 8% in morning trading in London.AR
