LONDON (Alliance News) - Ventus VCT PLC said Tuesday its net asset value dropped in the first six months of the financial year as Ventus 2 VCT PLC moved in the opposite direction.
For the six months ended August, Ventus VCT's net asset value decreased to GBP17.9 million from GBP18.1 million at the end of February.
The fund's net asset value per share decreased to 109.6 pence from 111.0p.
Ventus VCT 2 net asset value increased to GBP19.3 million at the end of August compared to GBP19.1 million six months ago.
Ventus VCT 2 NAV per share increased to 79.0p from 78.2p.
Ventus VCT declared an interim dividend of 4.0p and Ventus VCT 2 declared an interim dividend of 2.5p. Both dividends were flat on the half-year before.
Shares in Ventus VCT were untraded Tuesday but last closed at 100.00 pence each. Ventus 2 VCT shares were down 2.1% at 69.00p each.
The fund, which focuses on renewable energy investments, said it has no plans to make any further investments.
