LONDON (Alliance News) - Victoria PLC said Monday it is confident in meeting market expectations for its full-year ending March 2019 after reporting an increase in sales.
In its annual general meeting statement, the floorcoverings company said it continued to trade well in the five months to the end of August with like-for-like revenue up by "more than" 3% on last year.
"Furthermore, Victoria has developed a number of new product ranges across the group to be launched during the second half of the financial year, for which there has already been positive feedback from early marketing," the company said.
The company continued to seek diversification with nearly 70% of its earnings generated from outside of the UK and spread across several categories of flooring.
The company will publish its half-year results in November.
Victoria shares were trading up 0.4% at 767.00 pence each.
