(Sharecast News) - Floor coverings company Victoria confirmed on Wednesday that, further to its announcement on 6 August, it has completed the acquisition of Cerámica Saloni.The AIM-traded firm described the acquisition as a European manufacturer of mid to high-end ceramic and porcelain tiles."Saloni is an excellent fit for the Victoria Group, bringing solid management, growing profits, and significant operational synergies with Keraben, which is located nearby," said Victoria chairman Geoff Wilding."We will continue to grow our European business and expect to announce further acquisitions in due course."Alejandro Navarro, director general of Cerámica Saloni, added that his company was "very pleased" that Victoria had acquired it."They [Victoria] have proven to be very high-quality operators and I know Saloni will continue to go from strength to strength under their ownership - especially with the meaningful synergies that exist with Keraben," Navarro commented.
