Universe Sells JetSet For GBP0.4M Cash

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Universe Group PLC (UNG.LN), said Monday that it has sold JetSet for a consideration of GBP0.4 million to be satisfied in cash, and said it intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of JetSet to reduce the company's overall levels of debt. -Shares at 0710 GMT up 0.13 pence, or 4.35%, at GBP3.0 pence, valuing the company at GBP3.44 million. -By Razak Musah Baba, Dow Jones Newswires; 44-20-7842-9275; razak.baba@dowjones.com (END) Dow Jones Newswires July 26, 2010 03:08 ET (07:08 GMT)

Universe operating profits seen lower
