(Alliance News) - Greencoat UK Wind PLC on Tuesday said it appointed Caoimhe Giblin as non-executive director from September.
The FTSE 250-listed wind farms investor said Giblin will also be a member of its Audit, Management Engagement and Nominations Committees.
Giblin has extensive experience in the electricity industry sector, Greencoat UK Wind said, having spent seven years with SSE Renewables and three years with Airtricity, both subsidiaries of FTSE 100-listed energy firm SSE PLC.
From 2014, Giblin has been head of Client Services for energy firm ElectroRoute Holdings Ltd.
"With her financial background and wind energy sector experience we believe that Caoimhe will make a valuable contribution to the company," said Chair Tim Ingram.
Greencoat UK Wind shares were trading 0.3% higher on Tuesday in London at 137.45 pence each.
