Events and conferencing group Tarsus said it expects full year 2009 adjusted pre-tax profits to be in line with the board's expectations after currency gains.In recent trading the group said emerging markets, which contributed approximately 33% of group revenues in 2009, continued to perform well. The group said it expects this proportion to increase to around 50% by 2013.Trading in Europe remained challenging, Tarsus added while its saw early signs of recovery in the US market.Group like-for-like revenue growth for the year ended 31 December 2009 has seen an increase of approximately 11% or 1% excluding any benefit from currency movements. Looking ahead Tarsus said it is well positioned as economic growth picks up.
