JD Sports Fashion PLC - retailer of sports, fashion and outdoor brands - Appoints Bert Hoyt as a non-executive director, with effect from Wednesday. Hoyt has experience of global markets, the company says, having joined Nike in 1998, he was most recently vice president & general manager of Nike EMEA, a position which he occupied until he retired in January.

Titon Holdings PLC - manufacturer and supplier of ventilation systems - Says Bernd Ratzke and Kevin Sargeant, non-executive directors, have given notice of their intention to step down from the board of Titon. The company has commenced a process to appoint two independent non-executive directors.

Rathbone Brothers PLC - investment management and wealth management services provider - Names Iain Cummings and Dharmash Mistry as non-executive directors with effect from October 5. Cummings is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 35 years of experience working in the financial sector. Dharmash is an experienced technology venture capitalist, entrepreneur and non-executive director. He was formerly a Partner at Balderton & Lakestar, leading investments including Revolut, Glovo, Infarm, Blockchain.com & Lovefilm amongst others.

Draper Esprit PLC - venture capital firm - Appoints Sarah Gentleman as non-executive director with effect from Wednesday. Gentleman will become chair of the Remuneration Committee and will also be a member of the Audit, Risk & Valuations Committee and Nominations Committee. She is currently non-executive director, chair of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit, Risk & Nomination Committees at Rathbone Brothers.

Reconstruction Capital II Ltd - Cayman Islands-based investment firm - Reports the appointment of Martin Derbyshire as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effct. Derbyshire has worked for over 25 years in the trust, corporate and fund administration sector principally as an executive director & shareholder of the international trust, fund and corporate service provider SMP Group Ltd where he sat on the main board and on a number of its licensed and regulated operational subsidiaries.
