(Alliance News) - Technology Minerals PLC on Monday said drilling at its North Leinster lithium project in Ireland has confirmed the presence of a lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite dyke swarm at the Knockeen prospect.
The London-based battery metals mining and recycling said Global Battery Metals Ltd has completed a total of 656 metres worth of phase one drilling, with visual analysis indicating intervals of lithium mineralisation from all four drill holes.
Global Battery Metals holds a 55% stake in the North Leinster site, having increased its take by 38% in July.
The company said a fifth drill hole is currently underway, with Global Battery intending to drill at all ten permitted drill sites over a total of 2,0000 metres.

Technology Minerals shares rose 3.0% to 1.70 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
