The facility is owned by Recyclus Group Ltd, in which Technology Minerals holds a 48.3% stake. The plant has passed multiple inspections, the company says, and is steadily increasing its hours toward continuous operation. Expects facility to process 8,300 tonnes lithium-ion batteries in its first year. It has a permit for up to 22,000 tonnes. The plant processes end-of-life batteries into 'black mass', from which battery metals can extracted and sold back in the battery supply chain.
