UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: FastForward Innovations Names Chair, CEO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

FastForward Innovations Ltd - growth company investment - Lorne Abony steps down as chair and chief executive officer to "pursue his other business interests" but will serve as non-executive director of investee Yooma Corp. Abony also will monitor FastForward's interests in EMMAC Life Sciences, Vemo Education and Leap Gaming. FastForward said Monday it has agreed to invest USD1 million in Yooma as part of a USD5 million fundraising round. It has a 10.65% stake in Yooma with a value of USD2.3 million based on the fundraising round pricing. Yooma intends to partner with Asian social and e-commerce platforms to create a hemp and cannabidiol-focused lifestyle company. FastForward named non-executive directors Ed McDermott and Ian Burns as CEO and non-executive chair, respectively.

Coats Group PLC - industrial thread maker - Hires Victrex PLC Chief Executive Officer Jakob Sigurdsson as non-executive director from October 1. Victrex is a FTSE 250-listed polymers firm.

Redx Pharma PLC - cancer and fibrosis drugs - Hires Sarah Wild as independent non-executive director, from July 1. Wild was senior healthcare analyst at Lone Pine Capital LLC. Currently non-executive director at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Evox Therapeutics.

Advanced Medical Solutions Group PLC - wound dressings - Non-Executive Director Peter Steinmann to retire from board at June 10 annual general meeting. The company said the departure is part of its plan to refresh the non-executive directors on the board, and it is in the process of finding a replacement.

React Group PLC - deep cleaning and decontamination - Promotes Andrea Pankhurst to board as chief financial officer. Pankhurst has been finance director of React Specialist Cleaning Ltd, React's operating subsidiary, since January.

Victoria Oil & Gas PLC - gas producer in Cameroon - Andrew Diamond resigns as finance director and from company. Will step down from board immediately but help with the handover to a new finance director during his six-month notice period.

Staffline Group PLC - recruitment and training - Promotes Interim CFO Daniel Quint to board as executive director from Monday. Quint remains interim CFO.

Maestrano Group PLC - transport analytics - Hires Nicholas Wayne as vice president for the Americas. Wayne was a senior executive with Airbus SE in North America, working in its intelligence business. He was a founder of Airbus Aerial, which drew insights from satellite, airplane and drone imagery.

San Leon Energy PLC - Nigeria oil & gas exploration and production - Bill Higgs steps down as non-executive director immediately, after serving two years.
