AIM - WINNERS

Shoe Zone PLC, up 8.8% at 82.65 pence, 12-month range 34.56p-103.55p. Footwear retailer says Chief Executive Anthony Smith and Chair Charles Smith purchased 1.6 million shares in total at 80p each on Thursday, worth GBP1.3 million.

Physiomics PLC, up 8.7% at 6.58p, 12-month range 3.55p-17.25p. Oxford, England-based tumour technology firm wins two further contracts from existing client Bicycle Therapeutics.

Arkle Resources PLC, up 7.3% at 0.94p, 12-month range 0.69p-2.20p. The gold and zinc explorer says first hole at its Mine River project in Ireland intersected the vein at depth and shows it to carry gold. Two further holes have been completed at 50 metres spacing in the new area. Samples have been sent for analysis with results expected in mid-June.

AIM - LOSERS

Staffline Group PLC, down 16% at 58.70p, 12-month range 23.24p-82.38p. The recruiter proposes a share placing and subscription to raise GBP44 million, in order to cut debt and provide working capital for growth. Staffline will place 87.2 million new shares at 50p each, which is a 30% discount to Thursday's closing price.
