(Sharecast News) - Bespoke software systems supplier SCISYS updated the market on its trading on Thursday, saying it would announce its interim results for the half year to 30 June on 20 September.The AIM-traded firm's board said it was "confident" that the company would deliver year-on-year progress in 2018, with the two halves of the year more evenly balanced than in 2017, where the second half was considerably stronger than the first half.As a result, it said the interim results would show a "marked improvement" on those for 2017.Cash generation reportedly continued to be strong, while net debt reduced from the 2017 closing position of £5.9m to £3.3m by 30 June, reflecting the positive first half-year trading performance."The group's order book remains at historic high levels of around £100m and the directors see potential contract wins in the pipeline that can further strengthen this position in the coming months," the board said in its statement."In the light of these favourable indicators at the half-year, the directors view the outlook for the remainder of 2018 and beyond with confidence."
