LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Energy PLC said Wednesday it will shortly start drilling at the TE-9 well in eastern Morocco.
Shares in the Moroccan-focused upstream gas company were trading up 4.0% at 37.47 pence each in London.
The TE-9 is the first of a three-well exploration campaign in the region. It will be logged to a vertical depth of 3,022 metres, and Sound said it intends to drill both the TAGI and the underlying Paleozoic targets.
Drilling is expected to take between 35 and 45 days.
