LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering software company AVEVA Group PLC on Friday said it has appointed Christopher Humphrey as a non-executive director from July 8.
Humphrey is currently a non-executive director at broadcasting and entertainment equipment and services provider Vitec Group PLC and at software provider SDL PLC. He was chief executive of software provider Anite PLC from 2008 until August last year, prior to which he was finance director from 2003 to 2008.
"I am delighted to welcome Christopher to the board as a non-executive director. Christopher has a wealth of technology and international experience which will add further breadth and depth to the skills of the board," Chairman Philip Aiken said in a statement.
Shares in AVEVA were trading up 0.4% at 1,701.00 pence on Friday morning.
