LONDON (Alliance News) - Real Good Food PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed David Newman as the company's new finance director, with immediate effect.
Newman has been company secretary at Real Good Food since 2010, following his position as financial controller after the company took over international food group Napier Brown & Co Ltd in 2005. Prior to this he worked as a financial accountant at Dawson Group Ltd and also held senior financial roles at Pirelli Group PLC, J Mowlem & Co PLC, and at Napier Brown before the takeover.
"David originally joined the Napier Brown business in October 1995 as financial controller and has played a key role in the development of our financial and IT systems throughout that time. He brings to the role a wealth of experience and knowledge across the company and he will be a strong addition to the board," Chairman Pieter Totté said in a statement.
