LAGOS, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Nigeria's Forcados crude oil
exports are under force majeure following a pipeline shutdown,
oil major Shell said in a statement on Friday.
Shell said it made the declaration effective 10 a.m. local
time (0900 GMT) on Jan. 14 following the shutdown of the Trans
Forcados Pipeline by operator Heritage Energy Operational
Services Limited.
Forcados typically exports around 250,000 barrels per day of
oil.
