LONDON (Alliance News) - Premier Veterinary Group PLC on Tuesday said Juliet Thompson has been appointed non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Thompson is a corporate finance veteran, having worked for investment banks Stifel and Nomura in the past, and is the vice-president of corporate finance at Precision Ocular, the retinal diseases company.
She takes over from Iain Ross, who will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Premier Veterinary also said Daniel Smith will leave his role as chief financial officer in September in order to move to another part of the UK. A search for his replacement is underway.
Shares in the company were up 4.7% to 133.50 pence.
