(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of UK company director and manager changes announced during the week of December 16 to 20 and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Nektan PLC - Hires Paul Hughes as non-executive director. Nektan says Hughes is a corporate banker with experience in turning around loss-making businesses, risk management, and growing private and public companies.

Diversified Gas & Oil PLC - Hires Melanie Little as additional independent non-executive director. Little is a senior executive with Magellan Midstream Partners LP.

PetroTal Corp - Hires Eleanor Barker and Roger Tucker as independent non-executive directors. Barker heads her own oil & gas investment and consulting company and is a director of Serinus Energy PLC. Barker had been director of Sterling Resources Ltd, into which PetroTal reversed for its Toronto listing. Tucker was senior vice president of BG Group's European business, chief executive officer of African Arabian Petroleum Ltd, and managing director of Yukos Oil.

Okyo Pharma Ltd - Gregor MacRae replaces Leopoldo Zambeletti as non-executive director. MacRae is senior partner of Appledore Wealth Management LLP.

Cathay International Holdings Ltd - Confirms the composition of its board following the retirement of Lee Jin Yi, announced in October. Wu Zhen Tao now serves as non-executive chair, Eric Siu as finance director, and Patrick Sung as executive director & controller. There also are four non-executive directors: Stephen Burnau Hunt, Sum Soon Lim, Toong Ken Kwok and Chan Ching Har.

Lookers PLC - Appoints Victoria Mitchell as non-executive director. Mitchell is the former chief operating officer of Capital One (Europe) PLC. She also is on the board of West Bromwich Building Society.

Hurricane Energy PLC - Hires Beverley Smith as non-executive director. Smith is a former executive with BG Group, most recently vice president for exploration & growth for Europe.

Brave Bison Group PLC - Paul Marshall steps down as non-executive director. Brave Bison intends to appoint new non-executive directors as soon as possible, with one "very shortly".

Triad Group PLC - Promotes Tim Eckes from managing consultant to client services director. Hires Charlotte Rigg as non-executive director. Rigg runs a stud farm in Cumbria and an investment property portfolio.

Clipper Logistics PLC - Hires Dino Rocos as independent non-executive director. Rocos was a senior management board member at UK retailer John Lewis Partnership, with responsibility for the development of supply chain strategies. Rocos replaces Mike Russell, who steps down after nine years on the board.

PetroTal Corp - Alberta, Canada-based oil and gas company - Updates on third quarter production. Achieves production of 10,909 barrels of oil per day in the quarter and is currently producing around 12,500 bopd. Explains production was lower than the guided 13,500 bopd as it was negatively impacted by lower than expected river levels that reduced barge capacity for the Brazil route exports. For the year ended September 30, produces around 14,040 bopd, which is inside full year production guidance range.

IN BRIEF: PetroTal reiterates production targets, pays dividend

PetroTal Corp - Alberta, Canada-based oil and gas company - Confirms dividend of USD0.025 per share will be paid to shareholders on September 15. Adds buybacks have resumed with another scheduled after a brief pause around the quarter end. Further, says production in July and August 2023 averaged 11,552 barrels of oil per day and 12,651 barrels respectively as the company managed reduced barge movement to and from Brazil during the anticipated low river dry season. Expects to make up the volume shortfall if river levels revert to normal in the fourth quarter, and reiterates its full year guidance range of between 14,000 barrels and 15,000 barrels.
