LONDON (Alliance News) - Biotechnology firm PureTech Health PLC on Friday said it has made an appointment to its scientific advisory board and has expanded its team of senior advisers.
PureTech said it has appointed Feng Zhang, an Massachusetts Institute of Technology scientist and pioneer in gene editing technology, to its Scientific Advisory Board.
In addition, it has hired Jeff Stevens, a former healthcare analyst and portfolio manager at fund manager Fidelity Investments, as vice-president of growth strategy and operations.
Beyond that, the PureTech has hired three new senior advisers.
They include Meghan Fitzgerald, executive vice-president of corporate strategy, M&A and health policy at US healthcare services group Cardinal Health; Atul Pande, the former senior vice-president and head of neurosciences at UK drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline; and Philip Larsen, the global head of diabetes research and development at French drug company Sanofi SA.
PureTech shares were untraded on Friday, having last traded at 148.00 pence.
