Polarean Imaging PLC - medicalâ€‘imaging technology company - Says it has raised GBP2.0 million through the open offer. As a result, a total of GBP27.0 million was raised through the placing, subscription and open offer, launched in mid-March.

"The net proceeds of the fundraise will allow us to prepare for commercialisation and launch post approval of our proprietary drug-device combination in the US, and we are very excited to pursue this next chapter in the company's journey," says Chief Executive Richard Hullihen.

Current stock price: 64.00 pence, down 1.5% on Tuesday

Year-to-date change: down 5.7%

Polarean says it continues to have positive meetings and is in active negotiations with additional academic medical centres. Xenoview is a hyperpolarised contrast agent for use with magnetic imaging for the evaluation of lung ventilation in adults and paediatric patients aged 12 years and older. It was approved for use in the US last year.
