PCI-PAL Holds Confident Outlook For Current Year On Solid Performance

(Alliance News) - PCI-PAL PLC said Thursday, prior to its annual general meeting, it had made a strong performance for its financial year-to-date, fostering confidence in its prospects for the remainder of the period.

The secure payments platform provider said it had made strong progress in sales in its current year ending June 2020, mentioning the awarding of contracts by an unnamed FTSE 250 retailer and Fortune 100 pharmaceutical firm.

In addition, PCI-PAL said it would launch its new PCI PAL Digital product in January next year. The product will provide a web-based solution for partners and customers to take payments securely in any number of digital customer engagement scenarios.

PCI PAL Digital will be incorporated into the PCI PAL platform within platform provider Amazon Web Services Inc.

"This development, created in-house, will provide a seamless omni-channel environment within which users can take payments from customers securely through any customer interaction," PCI PAL said in a statement.

Shares in PCI-PAL - which is headquartered in London - were up 8.1% at 31.90 pence on Thursday.
